What Is Your Monday Song?

Hello Stong Men & Women,

You have been stopped in your tracks interrupted by that very thing that you have notoriously, dodged, ran from, side stepped and frankly feared and you decide to take a chance and not run.  As you suspected or maybe not, it blows up and now regret grips your hand tightly to comfort your suspicion, to put you back on the running track and back in shape to dodge, run etc.   Well, everything is not going to work out all of the time, at least you dared to try, as the saying goes, "Nothinng beats a failure, but a try."  If you decided not to try, because you feared failure, you would have never learned that you can be open to give a chance to something that you have turned your back on for sooo long.  Disappointment may set in, but only give it a moment then move on.  Everything and everyone is not a good fit, but something or someone is.  It does not matter so much if things went good or bad, but that you dared to try.  What others may deem as easy, may not be easy for you, the wonderful thing is, if you are valued for trying, if you are worth it and special enough in giving it a chance, then, it will fall into place.  Be grateful about what you have learned, take the positive away from the lesson and let that part grow to enhance your future experiences.

I say to you that all of you are beautiful for trying, beautiful souls, beautiful minds, beautiful hearts.  Do not be discouraged and by all means, do not revert back to the old, but embrace the newness of what you have unlocked and opened.  Baby steps never hurt, but, keep stepping.  The right situation, the right person will meet you where you are - wherever that is and will have no pains about showing you that you are worth the wait, the understanding, the talks, the time and so much more.

With that said, breathe deep and exhale:)

When You Don't Feel Ready For Change

Hello Strong Men & Women,

There comes a time in life when change is inevitable, but, we are just not ready.  The part of us that is not ready, is uncomfortable and can not see all that change will bring.  However, if it is for the better of your health, sanity or spiritual well being, then guess what, you are in for a pleasant surprise.  Many times, we become complacent in pain, misery, grief or meritocracy and there is no real vision or perception of change, it is too unfamiliar.  Complacency steals time, joy and dreams.  We are made to fulfill purpose in life, God does not want us to not live our purpose, nor does He want us to stay stuck in any situation.

Change can be shockingly painful, because, we realize that we may have to leave others behind that pull us down, let go of negative situations in our lives, give God control and do as He says and at times, it can really hurt.  However, it is what is best, if we truly want to be happy.

Change for the better can only make you better.  There is nothing that God can not do, so you know that He can step right in the middle of your situation and pull you to the top.  We only get (1) life and it is not for others to destroy, but for us to live and live it to the best of our ability.  We can not control others, but we can be in control of us.  We know in our hearts what is going to improve our life, it is the sigh of not wanting this to be our reality, but most times, it is.  Therefore, if we choose not to change, the situation will only stay the same or worsen.  My advice to you is to pray, tell God your fears, but also, give Him your trust.

You will be o.k. You may not be ready for change, change is ready for you.

God Knows

Hello Everyone,

I want to impress upon you to never feel or think that you are invisible to God or that He can not hear your silent prayers.  He hears and sees you.  He just may not move at the pace we want, but it is out of love for us that He moves at His timing.  His timing is perfect.  So, with that said, here is a poem, I composed for you.

God Knows

You cry inside with tears on the rim of your eyes

You hide your scream in the wind, because you can no longer scream within

You wear a mask so no one will know, parading  an unauthentic smile so that your hurt will not show

He Knows

The leaves on the trees shake because they feel your fear

The wolves slowly creep, they smell you near

They smell your lack of hope, your weakening ability to cope,

they smell the emptiness of your soul, they plan for your fall while creeping low

God awaits to protect you, He already knows

There is no way that you can feel that God can not understand

No problem so big that He can not crush with His Hand

No sorrow so sad that He can not give His peace

No hurt so deep that He can not reach

No seed so small from which flowers can not grow

Nothing so secret that He will not know

God knows you and is always there,

He shows up in so many ways to show how  He cares

He blocks you from danger of which you may never be aware

 If you just have faith the size of a mustard seed

That is all He asks, is just for your belief

No matter what comes and no matter what goes

Hello Everyone,

I am so sorry for not being consistent, what I have been going through has taken a toll and my heart really wanted to write, but I just did not have the words.  I am on Facebook and it is easy to just post, but it takes energy and drive to write.  So, here I am again, but this time, I will write for now, at least once a week.  If I can help or encourage someone, I feel it in my heart to do that even in my storm.

So, to start here is a song of encouragement.  I have learned first hand, that faith is truly a walk of believing that God is there when you cry, smile or are just lost for words.  He just wants to help and give love to heal our hearts, but it is a matter of giving him the broken pieces.

Just Special and a Blessing

Hello Everyone,

Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mothers and Mother figures.  Mother is not a title but the act of fulfilling a responsibility love and a huge sacrifice given without condition.  Once a Mother, it is forever true and runs deep for your children or those who you love as your own.  It is a love that can not be described, but it can be shown with each day.

I just want to say to my Mother that You loved me before you knew me and embraced me before you saw me, you were prepared to nurture me for a lifetime, telling me I am special with your smile full of sparkle and shine. Thank you for teaching me how to be strong, now, I am dedicated to loving you all my life long. 

Happy Mothers Day Mommy and thank you for all that you have done and have been and continue to be,  I love you very much.

Your Sense of Self Is Not Their Call

Hello Everyone,

Being called names and being bullied can hurt anyone.  That which comes out of the mouth of others can be as a sword and pierce your very core, but always know that no matter what God loves you.  We may not always look exactly the way that we want, but that does not give one person the right to be cruel.

People that are mean to others have issues that they project onto others whom they feel they can hurt.  Do not let anyone bully you.  It is easier said than done, I know, but start with you and self acceptance.  As others see your self-esteem rise, they will begin to back off.  Well, you say, "I am so emotionally bruised by how I am treated that I just do not like me and I deserve it. " No, you do not deserve to be dehumanized and belittled.  You must take a look at the situation, that bully did not create you and does not wake you up in the morning.  Since, this is the case, why give them power.  The only power that they have is what you hand to them.  Even if you do not feel like being confident tell yourself everyday that you love you and that you will no longer give away your power.

A bully is someone who comes in many forms and enjoys making others suffer and miserable.  Call on your inner strength and pray for strength to realize your greatness and be able to walk in it daily.  We do not know why people bully, it could be jealousy, it could be because they hurt, it could be because they were bullied in their past, but still I ask, what right do they have?   There is none.

I hope that you know that you are loved and cared about.  Do not let anyone make you feel small.
You are great.
