Stop Injustice

Hello Everyone,

Every fourth Wednesday of each month an injustice is posted to this blog.  Awareness is paramount to shining a light on not just injustice in America, but all over the world.

Give It Your All

Hello Everyone,

Can I just encourage you to give your dreams your all.  You can do what your heart desires, but step out, don't hold back and put your best to work.

The way that you look at you shows to everyone else.  So, it is important to be confident, if your heart has a passion for advocacy, then advocate and be good, the best, if your heart has a passion for writing, write and be the best.  If the desire and passion is there, you are more than half way.

Do not become afraid once opportunities open up and things begin to take shape and work in your favor.  The butterflies are just anticipation of the unknown, but what is for you, will be for you.  Go get it and always give it your all.

Syesha is an up and coming singer who gives it her all in the video.

HairCare Friday

 Hello Everyone,

It is once again, HairCare Friday; I hope that you are ready for a tutorial for another fantastic natural hairstyle.

You can have a neat tucked bun or a fluffy bun.

Showing how to style a high bun meet Ms. Danti1

Tutorial by +MsDanti1

Now, here is me showing my fluffy bun.

I brushed my hair up using a hair butter that I made, rubbed a generous amount of eco styler gel (olive oil) on my hair to smooth it up using the palm of my hand, then used a brush. After which, I used an ouch less headband to gather the hair, leaving out a small amount in the front two strand twisting it, then pinned the band in place.

Once all of my hair was on top, I two strand twisted my hair in chucks using the hair butter that I made and a little eco styler gel with some virgin olive oil and rolled the chunky twist with white perm rod rollers, rubbed olive oil on the sides and back, wrapped a satin scarf on and left the top out.

In the morning, I removed the scarf, took the rollers out, untwisted my hair fluffed it, clipped on my flower and done.

Don't Wonder If You Have Been Forgiven

Hello Everyone,

I have a friend with whom I constantly debate.  One debate was about forgiveness and just what that means when it comes to God forgiving us. We disagreed on some points, but let me share my point with you.

Stop self condemnation and believe that God Forgives.  I think it is hard for some to believe they have been forgiven for doing something wrong, because, they feel the need to badger themselves to keep from doing it again.  Here is the thing, if you have asked God to forgive you and you truly are remorseful, then why not believe that it is done.  O.k., self badgering is a mechanism as a reminder not to do it again, but if you have been forgiven that is enough.  Just to know that God Himself loves you and with His sincere heart has answered your request of forgiveness, is freedom from what has been done.

Believe in your heart what is asked of Him.  It is not something that has to be publicized or told to anyone, just you knowing that your talk with the Father was sincere is worth its weight in gold.  God really loves us, He made us and does not want us to not get beyond our faults, but to acknowledge the error in our ways, not repeat it and move on.  He looks forward to our happiness and to see us be whole, not broken and guilt ridden.  His love is never ending and He believes in us.  So, we must learn to grow and flourish and not feel that God is dwelling on our errors, for it is us that actually do that, keeping us bound to regret and guilt.  It does not get us any where and slows progress and joy.  God's love is great and extends itself beyond mistakes.  Once He forgives, we must be thankful and leave it alone.

When Prayers Go Up

Hello Everyone,

I just want to check in with you and talk about prayer.  I will not be long, but want to express the importance and the mighty power in a prayer.  There is so much loss, sickness and devastation that prayer is our air, we need it.  I saw on Facebook where people were asking for prayer due to loss or sickness, I made my comments and then later today, I received an e-mail that a close friend of the family had passed.  Wow, I thought, how fragile life is, the young lady that passed, I have known for many many years and never in the imagination would I ever think that she would not live to see her elder years.

I just want to encourage everyone to pray and live life with zeal in the deeds of goodness and joy.  We must appreciate each day and give thanks.  Prayer with its power can bring strength and comfort in trying times.  God knows, feels and cares about every tear that fills our eyes. Prayer really does make a difference.  Through prayers, we surrender burdens and worries.

This video is to give thanks to the gift of Prayer, to encourage prayer and to hopefully touch the heart of someone.

What Is Your Song For Monday?

Hello Everyone,

Do you have a song that just picks you up?  Music really connects with the mind, body and spirit. I am a lover of all genres of music and each inspires me in its own way.  Always, as I go through my week, music, music, music all week long.  It gets me through my days.  There is a song that lifts me up every time I hear it.   Do you have a song that does that for you? Ii is like nourishing food giving you a boost and making you feel better.

Music has a healing quality to it among many other qualities.  We listen for various reasons, some for a pick me up, motivation, focus, to have a good cry, to stop crying, to relax, to get pumped, when I use to attend spin class, like it was going out of style, the music pumped me up, I felt like I could cycle for days.  At the time, my spin instructor Tim would play all sorts of intense songs, but when he would play "Go Hard or Go Home," the entire class was in the zone.  Music is something that the world can not do without.  Every part of the world has music that serves so many purposes.  If you feel like you are having a hard time getting through your day, turn on some music and see what happens.

So, this song that I previously mentioned that lifts me up every time I hear it is by +Manifesto.  This is going to be my Monday song.  What is yours going to be?
