How To Get Up From Being Torn Down

Hello Family & Friends,

The best way to get up from being torn down is to first, keep praying.  We do not know the motivation of others, why they say or do the things that may be hurtful, but, there has to be a point where their motivation is not your focus.  You must begin to stop asking yourself why is this person trying to harm me, why are they trying to tear me down, why have I been the focus of their negative attention.  Don't ask those questions anymore, because they do not hold any real or rational answer for you.  The only thing that you can do is realize that you have to begin to build.  You must build mental and emotional strength to be able to see them small as they are, you must build spiritual strength to see how big God really is and to understand that there is no one on this earth or anywhere that can mess with you when you show yourself strong.  The way to show  yourself strong is to take God with you everywhere and include him in on what you do.  Many times, others will try to bring you down, because they see you as prey and think that they can, but you rise up against it and step all over their plan.

When people have been wounded and belittled it certainly can have an affect, but everyday, tell yourself that you are strong and keep asking God for more and more strength. He will show up in you and others will see your strength and will begin to wonder why they can no longer affect you.  Stop being in fear of people that beat their chest and act so fierce and big, it is just a puff of smoke that they are blowing.  No one can stand against the strength that God gives you, so, take courage and make up your mind that you are stronger and will no longer be in fear of anyone and they can not tear down what God has built up.

The Honor of Men

Hello Family & Friends,

We are here again, "The Honor of Men."  Before we begin, I want to thank Eric Thomas, thehiphoppreacher for his permission to post his videos.

Some of you may not know, but I am a poet.  A poem that I composed titled "The Honor of A Man" is below the video.

Here we go - "I Can, I Will, I Must, I Did"  thehiphoppreacher (Eric Thomas)

The Honor of A  Man
Who Can Profess To Understand
The Experiences, The Sacrifices, The Life Of A Man,
But A Man

How Can One Feel The Day To Day
Or Know The Challenges That Come Your Way,
But A Man

Men, You Do Not Always Hear That You Are Great,
That You Are Appreciated And Your Opinion Has Weight,
Your Words And Innovation Can Change World Views
No One Else But You, Can Fit In Your Shoes

You Can Make A Mark, Be A Hard Act To Follow,
A Trail Blazer, A Mover And Shaker,
A Man Of Distinction,
Raising The Stakes For Tomorrow

With Everyday Grow In Integrity,
Stand For Right, Be Strong In Your Belief,
Let The Naysayers Say Nay
Your Definition Of You Is Not Theirs Anyway

Make True The Dream Your Mind’s Eye See,
Take Hold And Charge Of Your Destiny
Let God Lead And You Will Be That Man,
Full Of Honor, esteem, Living His Plan

Let Us Stand And Give An Ovation
To The Men Of Honor Of Every Generation
May You Always Be True
To Yourself, Your Purpose, Most Of All,
To The Man That Is You

Don't Stop Believing

Hello Everyone,

Never give up on your hopes, but, believe in them.  I know that it seems so far away sometimes and it is hard to envision you in the position that you see in your mind, but it is possible.  There is no other way to find out how it feels to be you living your dream than to try.   Life is not made up of easy roads and flat lands, it has bendy and rocky roads, some roads detour and others are full of pot holes, but, at times, there will be smooth roads that make the journey a little easier.  However, the journey turns out to be, it is worth the travel to make it there.  The thing to remember is to take God with you.  He will keep you grounded and away from those things that will not get you there in an honest manner.  He will be your compass and give you direction.  You want to get there on your own merit and terms.  Keep your faith a priority and do not worry about how things appear or what others say, just keep your eyes on your goal.
